ELEANOR ROGERS, owner and director, danced professionally with the North Carolina Dance Theatre, La Compagnie de Danse Entre-Six in Montreal, and the Atlanta Ballet. Her tours included performances in Canada, France, and the United States. She holds a B.F.A. in Dance from the North Carolina School of the Arts. Her background includes extensive study with teachers from the major schools of ballet training including Vaganova, Cecchetti, and Balanchine.
Eleanor began teaching ballet in 1982 and has headed classes at The Atlanta School of Ballet, The Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center and The Ballet School of Fellowship Christian Academy. She established and directed the School of Ballet under the umbrella of the Academy of the Arts at Perimeter Church for eleven years.
Eleanor and her husband Rob, have 3 children: Emma is a graduate of Webster University's Theatre Conservatory in St. Louis, recently married, and acting, while she and Mathias prepare to enter the Peace Corps. Marshall is a cadet at the United States Military Academy at West Point, and Gracie has graduated from South Forsyth H.S. and been accepted into the honors program at the University of Georgia. The Rogers' dogs Ginny & Meg, and lively dwarf rabbit, Missy, keeps things hopping in their home.
